Students today are faced with a technology-driven academic environment, one in which they must have the information literacy skills necessary to succeed. The iLIT assessment was developed to assess a student’s ability to access, evaluate, incorporate, and use information, and is aligned with the “Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education” set by the Association of College and Research Libraries.
